Microwave Convection Oven clean

Keeping your Microwave Convection Oven clean is important if you don’t want it to stop working or provide a really weird taste or smell of your food.

Microwave ovens get dirty real fast if you use them regularly as you place the food inside and then take it out once it is done which is why it is important to make sure that you clean it once every week.

Make sure that you remove any food bits that have stuck in the oven and clean up any burns or spills that might cover your oven. Just follow these simple steps to clean your stainless steel microwave oven in no time at all!

Step 1: Wipe down the exterior

A stainless steel exterior gives a modern finish to your oven but it is also quite prone to get dirty. You can see the dirt, food bits, fingerprints, etc. being stuck on your stainless steel oven. Since a stainless steel oven comes with a glossy exterior, if you don’t clean it properly then you might end up scratching the surface.

However, it is quite easy to clean a stainless steel exterior. All you have to do is take a clean rag and then dampen it a little with water and then use it to remove the dirt from the surface. Make sure you use a nonabrasive rag for your stainless steel surface.

Step 2: Scrub with vinegar

Once that is done, then you can dip your rag into a vinegar solution and then use it to scrub your oven free of any dirt or food bits.

All you need to do is dip your rag into pure white vinegar and then scrub the oven surface, you can also use a commercial stainless steel cleaner in place of a vinegar solution. Popularised by KitchenGuyd, this nifty trick does it every time.

Step 3: Soak the dirt

A lot of times the grime or the food bits that are stuck on your oven could be a little hard to clean with just a simple scrub. However, there is nothing to worry about because you have a simple and efficient way to clean that dirt.

Just place your cleaner soaked rag or vinegar soaked rag over the stubborn dirt for 5-10 minutes. Once the dirt particles loosen then you can wipe it clean with the rag.

Step 4: Wipe down with a clean rag

Once you have removed all the dirt using vinegar or commercial cleaner solution, it is time to rinse the surface of the oven. You can rinse your rag with clean water and then use it to wipe down the oven to remove any cleaner residue. Then use a dry rag to wipe the oven dry.

Step 1: Use olive oil

Once your oven is clean and dry, you can restore its shine with the help of olive oil. Just dampen one corner of the rag with olive oil and then use it to remove any remaining streaks on your stainless steel exterior and bring back its metallic shine. This is a great way to make your oven look as good as new.
